Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or strategic marketing.
Proven experience managing PR campaigns in transportation, planning, or related industries.
Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
Strong media relations and crisis communication experience.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple high-profile projects.
Familiarity with digital communications platforms, analytics tools, and media monitoring software.
Experience working with senior leadership and external partners to shape messaging and strategy.

Responsibilities

Identify, research, and qualify PR opportunities, media partnerships, and strategic communications initiatives.
Lead the development and execution of proposals, presentations, and campaigns in response to RFPs/RFQs.
Cultivate and manage relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders.
Oversee internal and external communications strategies aligned with EXP’s brand and client goals.
Manage multiple PR and communications projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, engineering, client services) to support integrated messaging.
Apply risk management strategies to protect brand reputation and ensure message consistency.
Develop and manage editorial calendars, press releases, media kits, and content plans.
Ensure all communications meet brand standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with design and technical teams to align messaging with project milestones and deliverables.
Mentor junior communications staff and provide guidance on best practices and professional development.
Conduct QA/QC reviews of all public-facing materials and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
