About The Position

Job Summary: McCormick Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead agricultural and industrial construction projects from award through closeout. This role oversees safety, schedule, cost control, quality, and client satisfaction in collaboration with field leadership and internal teams. Projects may include operating facilities, shutdowns, structural steel, millwright work, mechanical installations, and ag-processing infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of project management experience in industrial, agricultural, or heavy construction
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control, and financial reporting
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Proficiency with construction and project management software

Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget
  • Manage schedules, manpower planning, procurement, and cost tracking
  • Oversee subcontractors, vendors, change orders, and RFIs
  • Serve as primary client contact and lead project meetings
  • Enforce safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
  • Identify risks and drive effective solutions
  • Manage project closeout and documentation
