The Position: The Project Manager will manage a project portfolio and be responsible for planning, executing and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of the team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee the quality control throughout its lifecycle. You will get an autonomous environment wherein you can manage your own work, build relationships with contractors, and help them complete the construction project to open the next new store location for our National Accounts (retailers, restaurants, banks, hospitality).

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent business experience.
  • 3 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Understanding and continual demonstration of the company culture (R.I.S.E.).
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
  • Experience and skill at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Ability to effectively manage install, specification, inventory, billing and collections risk.
  • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Persuasive, encouraging and motivating, along with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients and other departments.
  • Strong people and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Blue print reading experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently suggest value added services, alternate products, and full case pack quantities while processing customer orders.
  • Provide administrative assistance to Account Managers - e.g. product guide creation, NAED projects, order/quote entry, RMA entry, etc.
