Project Manager – Manufacturing & Sustainable Packaging | Downers Grove, IL Silgan Closures , a global leader in sustainable metal and plastic packaging , is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Corporate Office in Downers Grove, IL . This is a high‑impact role supporting product launches, manufacturing trials, customer qualifications, and cross‑functional engineering initiatives across our global network. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business
- Minimum of 5+ years of managing full-cycle projects in consumer products
- Ability to travel 4-10 days per month with occasional weekends
- Background working directly with manufacturing operations
- Hands-on experience with plant, material and tooling qualification trials
- Proven success leading projects impacting production processes and plant performance
