About The Position

As the Rebar Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the rebar office operations within the organization. Your role will involve managing a team of professionals, coordinating projects, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. This role is in conjunction with his/her day-to-day operations as a project manager as well. You will play a crucial role in driving the department's success and contributing to the overall objectives of the company. The Rebar Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the success of construction projects by overseeing the efficient and effective installation of rebar. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management experience to drive operational excellence and deliver superior results.

Requirements

Proven experience in rebar operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of rebar techniques, materials, equipment, and industry best practices.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Proficient in project management tools and software applications.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or related field. (Preferred)
Knowledge of aSa Studio software (Preferred)
Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of rebar professionals.
Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Review, negotiation, and execution of written contract and purchase orders.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of rebar projects.
Coordinate with project managers, detailers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Assure that all change orders are identified, captured, and executed
Assure that all RFI’s are properly issued, followed up upon, filed, distributed, documented, and priced if applicable.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess workmanship, materials, and compliance with specifications.
Implement corrective actions as needed to address quality issues and improve performance.
Allocate resources effectively to support project requirements and meet production targets.
Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate project requirements and resolve issues proactively.
Collaborate with management to address and resolve all customer concerns and complaints.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and maintain customer satisfaction.
Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to senior management on departmental performance, projects status, and strategic initiatives.
Working closely with Director of Sales with Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to develop targeted sales initiatives.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
