About The Position

This Project Manager position will be part of the IT Project Management Office (PMO) and facilitate incoming project requests and prioritization of the backlog for one or more IT Steering Committee (ITSC) Business Functions. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with on-site presence at the corporate office in O’Fallon, Missouri four (4) days per week and one (1) remote workday per week.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Experience working and driving consensus with diverse groups of people.
  • Experience with documentation and organization of data.
  • Proven analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.
  • Experience with the following Microsoft Office products is preferred: Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project and Teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology or related field or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Scrum Master Certification or other Project Management Certifications is a plus.
  • Experience with Manufacturing and ERP Systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Annual Project Planning meetings with Business Sponsors and update plan monthly in ITSC meetings.
  • Update ITSC SharePoint site, compile and present updates for projects and key initiatives through monthly meetings and weekly status emails.
  • Participate in PRT (Project Review Team) process through the review of incoming requests, business assessments, obtain sponsor approval, prioritization, and attend weekly meetings for priority and resource assignment.
  • Participate in or lead VSM’s (Value Stream Mapping) for IT related initiatives to improve process efficiency and outcomes.
  • Coordinate and manage the relationship with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Coordinate and review Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Statements of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with IT leadership, Legal, and vendors.
  • Develop, maintain and manage comprehensive project plans for internal teams and external Vendors to track milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing, improving, and enforcing documentation for IT process and procedures.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Actively manage Business Requests in Service Desk Ticketing System.
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills.
  • Attend Project Management conferences and technical training as required to maintain proficiency.
  • Perform project-level activities including meeting facilitation, requirements gathering, process documentation, testing coordination, issue tracking and resolution, communication planning, and training documentation.
  • Perform Scrum Master duties for assigned agile teams:
  • Facilitate various Agile/Scrum ceremonies: Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review/Demo, Daily Stand Up and Retrospective
  • Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum best practices to ensure continuous improvement
