About The Position

A client of Attain Talent is seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex projects supporting the National Apprenticeship System, overseeing timelines, deliverables, budgets, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful outcomes. This role requires strong expertise in project management, instructional design, data analysis, and content development, including the creation of scalable, 508‑compliant resources such as reports, toolkits, webinars, and SOPs. The Project Manager will provide team leadership, interpret and manage contract requirements, ensure high‑quality deliverables, analyze performance data, and prepare clear, actionable reports for senior leadership and the U.S. Department of Labor. This role is on-site in Washington, D.C.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant project management experience (or 10+ years without a degree)
  • Familiarity with the National Apprenticeship System
  • Expertise in project management, coordinating multiple projects/tasks concurrently with multiple stakeholders, prioritizing and submitting deliverables timely and accurately
  • Expertise in instructional design, theories, practices, and methods
  • Ability to develop resources such as case studies, white papers, reports, webinars, factsheets, and other suitable content that is scalable
  • Experience in data and performance analysis, reporting, and dissemination of programmatic, participation, investment, performance data, etc.
  • Experience in gathering business needs to develop tools such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), toolkits, factsheets, requirement documentations vital for process improvement
  • Ability to design 508-compliant products in plain language

Responsibilities

  • Provides oversight and direction to a team of staff
  • Interprets contracts and work requirements, ensures responsiveness, and achieves successful performance; may include subject matter and specific technical knowledge
  • Writing, editing, ensuring final products are proofread and meet certain content standards
  • Assists in analysis, evaluation, and implementation of projects/goals
  • Establishes schedules, meets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project (including budgets)
  • Prepares reports for senior management and DOL leadership regarding the status of projects
