About The Position

Provides overall leadership, coordination, and oversight of administrative and program support services for NSF OLPA. Serves as the primary point of contact between OLPA leadership, the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and contractor administrative staff. Plans, assigns, and monitors workloads to ensure consistent daily coverage and timely completion of administrative and program tasks. Oversees administrative functions including scheduling, correspondence, document management, metrics reporting, and stakeholder coordination. Ensures all administrative products meet NSF standards for accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and federal plain-language requirements. Manages staffing continuity, onboarding, and transition activities; coordinates resume reviews as required by the COR. Identifies risks, resolves issues, and implements corrective actions to maintain operational effectiveness. Provides regular status updates, progress reports, and recommendations to the COR and OLPA leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Communications, or a closely related field; or Equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in administrative or program management roles.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing administrative support teams in a federal or similarly complex environment.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating executive-level administrative functions and supporting senior leadership.
  • Experience managing workloads, continuity of operations, and staff transitions.
  • Proven ability to serve as a primary liaison with government CORs or senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
