About The Position

TeleSolv Consulting has an immediate opportunity to work with the Federal Government as a Project Manager for one of our clients. This is an ONSITE position based near Rapid City, SD. Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Program Manager to lead a team of over 18 contractor personnel in achieving the objectives of the client's Financial Management travel pay processing program, referred to as AFIMSC/FMFK. In this pivotal role, you will directly oversee a team of over 30 employees on-site at Ellsworth AFB, including monitoring of personnel performance, training identification and completion, employee onboarding, KPI monitoring, status reporting and other management and administrative tasks as required. This is a full time position. For this position, the ideal project manager must have a minimum of one (1) year Program Management experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of one year experience managing a staff of 18+ personnel in a production-based environment. The 1-year experience shall be within the past 5 years.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Must be eligible for Secret clearance (completion of Level III Trust) or currently in possession of Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary point of responsibility for over 30 personnel and acts as primary liaison between on-site contractor personnel and the government.
  • Identifies and coordinates with AFIMSC/FMFK leadership on training needs of contractor personnel and ensures that training is completed on time. Ensures the successful completion of required training and testing by all contractor personnel.
  • Monitors performance thresholds, makes decisions on conduct and/or complaints and administers disciplinary measures, and is responsible for cultivating a productive, harassment-free environment.
  • Communicates and enforces policies, procedures, etc., to eliminate concerns or barriers, promote team building, implement quality improvements, and in response to any changes with regulatory compliance or client concerns.
  • Ability to collaborate with federal government leadership and manage personnel functional efforts.
  • Overall management of the FSTs initial training program
  • Develop, maintain, and conduct orientation and initial proficiency training, including both formal and on-the-job training (OJT), to effectively perform AFIMSC/FMFK operations.
  • New FST’s shall be evaluated by the Program Manager each month to ensure employees are progressing and will meet the required standards for a fully proficient FST prior to end of the 120 business day initial training period.
