Requirements

  • Minimum AS degree with 4 years of manufacturing production support experience or equivalent; in lieu of college degree 6 years of experience acceptable
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee delivery timelines and clear roadblocks regarding casting initiatives from supplier.
  • Understanding of quality engineering and First Article Inspection.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is required
  • Energetic and excellent communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Must be self-motivated, open and transparent, as well as having excellent organizational skills
  • Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work with suppliers and buyers to understand delivery dates and delays
  • Put project plan together for various casting suppliers and their delivery issues to help clear and deliver to customer on time
  • Work closely with all Value Stream Leaders and teams to communicate immediate casting issues and potential problems on the horizon
  • Work with quality and other technical departments to help clear up issues surrounding supplier delivery issues (ex. FAI’s, EC’s, SRI’s, work transfer scheduling issues)
  • Identify and drive closure to action items related to casting deliveries
  • Track deliveries by maintaining a line of balance
