About The Position

Project Manager-Youth Navigator Program (Southwest WA) Virtual: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. Location(s): Clark, WA; Skamania, WA; Klickitat, WA; and Vancouver, WA Position Details: Expected to travel within the community such as schools, hospitals, and community organizations. The Project Manager-Youth Navigator Program (Southwest WA) is responsible for working with business partners to identify and implement small to medium projects that support achievement of simple to complex unit or corporate goals. The Youth Navigator Program provides rapid, structured, and family-centered “behavioral health concierge” support for school-aged youth experiencing significant emotional or behavioral health challenges. How you will make an impact

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 3 years professional project management experience, which at least 2 years are spent leading and directing project tasks; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in social work, behavioral health, or closely related field is preferred
  • 3+ years of project/program management experience, preferably in behavioral health, child/youth services, healthcare, or cross-system care coordination is preferred
  • Experience working in a lead role on one or more projects is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a implementation plan aligned with statewide Youth Navigator Program goals and regional models (Southwest Washington)
  • Develops communication management plan
  • Establish project timelines, workplans, milestones, and deliverables for launch readiness (staffing, workflows, partner onboarding, documentation, data tracking, and communications).
  • Leads project meetings
  • Identifies, documents and prioritizes scope changes and facilitates approval process
  • Identify and mitigate clinicals risks and make clinical recommendations to Outreach Specialists.
  • Maintains and updates all project documents
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key Pierce County stakeholders (e.g., hospitals/EDs, crisis teams, schools/districts, law enforcement, DCYF, tribes, community behavioral health providers, family/youth-serving orgs).
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and workflow training for Outreach Care Specialists.
  • Represent the program at community meetings, coalitions, and partner events.
  • Sets and manages expectations with resource managers and team members
  • Provides performance feedback to team members and resource managers
