Job Description Role: Project/Development Manager - Time Tracking Transformation (Microsoft PPM to Workday Projects) Location: Remote (USA) - CST Time zone availability Role Overview: We are seeking a Development Manager to lead and deliver the transition of our enterprise time tracking solution from PPM to Workday Time Tracking. This role is critical as we are midway through our implementation, targeting a mid-Q1 go-live, and are experiencing a leadership transition. The ideal candidate brings strong functional and technical understanding of Workday Time Tracking (or similar timekeeping systems), solid program/project management experience, and the ability to guide development, testing, reporting, cutover, and change management activities to successful completion.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience implementing Workday Time Tracking or other enterprise timekeeping systems (e.g., Kronos, UKG, ADP).
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar data/analytics platforms, especially for reporting and data integration needs.
  • Strong understanding of data flows, integrations, and system configuration in timekeeping systems.
  • Proven experience leading system/application implementation projects, ideally HR technology platforms.
  • Strong background in managing testing cycles, release planning, and environment coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience in cutover planning, production readiness assessments, and structured go-live execution.
  • Experience developing and executing change management plans, communication frameworks, and end-user training support.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical changes for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to step into a project mid-stream and rapidly establish structure, clarity, and momentum.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience working on Workday implementations with third-party integrators or consulting partners.
  • Workday Time and Absence Management .
  • Experience: 5-8 Years .

Nice To Haves

  • Workday certification in Time Tracking and Integrations.
  • Experience in fast-paced or transformation-driven environments.
  • Background in HR operations, payroll, workforce management, or related domains (not important but good to have)

Responsibilities

  • Lead ongoing implementation efforts for the transition from PPM to Workday Time Tracking, ensuring alignment with the planned mid-Q1 go-live.
  • Quickly ramp up on current project status, workstreams, risks, decisions, and dependencies.
  • Provide leadership continuity due to the departure of the existing team lead.
