About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day execution of the HR and Payroll workstreams within a large-scale ERP transformation from Oracle to SAP S/4HANA. This role coordinates functional teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure deliverables align with overall program objectives, timelines, and governance. The Project Manager maintains detailed project plans, manages risks and dependencies, and drives issue resolution within the HR and Payroll scope. Operating under the guidance of the Program Manager, this position ensures clear communication, accountability, and progress across a highly matrixed program environment. This position is remote.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of project management experience, including managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience supporting ERP implementations or enterprise system transformations
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR and Payroll workstreams within large-scale ERP programs
  • Strong understanding of HR and Payroll business processes and operational dependencies
  • Proven experience managing project plans, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communicationand organizational skills
  • Ability to work through problems quickly and effectively and define a clear path to resolution

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within structured program governance and matrixed stakeholder environments
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day execution of the HR and Payroll workstreams
  • Develop andmaintaindetailed project plans aligned to program milestones
  • Coordinate activities across functional teams, business stakeholders, and vendors
  • Monitor scope, schedule, and deliverables to ensure alignment with program controls
  • Identifyand manage risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Drive issue resolution and escalate cross-workstreamimpactsas needed
  • Communicate status, progress, and risks to program leadership and stakeholders
