The Project Manager/Superintendent role, a key Construction Leader, is at the core of this mission. This role involves planning, problem-solving, and culture-setting in the field, leading trade partners across scattered sites, communicating with clarity and urgency, and delivering homes on schedule, on budget, and defect-free, all while ensuring an exceptional experience for homeowners.

Requirements

  • Set the tone on the job site - steady, respectful, and no drama
  • Handle issues immediately before they become a bigger problem
  • Know quality lives in the small stuff - clean job sites, tight schedules, solid inspections, and punch lists that actually get finished
  • Build every home like it’s your own because your name and reputation are on it
  • 2+ years of new home construction experience
  • Gritty and hard-working; don't shy away from tough days or dirty boots
  • Take initiative; see a problem, and handle it
  • Possess a "Do It Now" mindset; move fast and keep jobs moving
  • Tech-willing; can learn construction software and use it daily
  • Physically capable; able to lift 80+ lbs and handle job site demands
  • Able to travel to job sites within a one-hour radius of the local design studio
  • Willing to travel for trainings as needed

  • Possess a “Do it Now” attitude, an attraction to meaningful work & relationships through radical truth & radical transparency, a strong work ethic, positive thinking, integrity, and Intelligence

Responsibilities

  • Lead trade partners across scattered sites
  • Communicate with clarity and urgency
  • Deliver homes that are on schedule, on budget, and defect-free
  • Create an exceptional experience for homeowners
  • Deliver homes from start to finish in under 200 days
  • Build homes with less than 2% variance from construction budget
  • Maintain 90%+ customer rating score
  • Update homeowners with clear, weekly updates through construction software
  • Lead and complete 100% of homeowner orientations with confidence and care
  • Review and approve all EPOs (Estimating Purchase Orders) within 3 business days
  • Keep construction schedules accurate and updated daily, via software
  • Complete required construction checklists prior to releasing payments
  • Actively recruit and build strong relationships with high-quality trade partners
  • Conduct site evaluations
  • Ensure all warranty items are completed within the defined service timeframe
