The Project Manager, Operations Strategic Initiatives oversees multiple enterprise projects that optimize business processes, increase operational efficiency, and align with the company’s long-term strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Ability to coordinate resources effectively and efficiently across multiple business teams through effective written and verbal communication, meeting facilitation, and project tracking methodologies
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Effective leadership and collaboration across diverse teams with the ability to influence change and drive consensus without authority.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Extremely effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com, Asana, Jira, or similar) and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of reporting best practices and emerging trends.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols
  • Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Results-driven and focused on delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Outstanding ability to manage deadlines and expectations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in operations, strategy, or project management related positions. Proven success in managing large teams and experience with complex projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Formal project management training or certifications (PMP, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of key enterprise projects, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, dependencies, timelines, resource requirements, and risk management strategies (including post & pre-mortems).
  • Coordinate resources, manage project teams, and track progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental cooperation by fostering strong working relationships and managing dependencies across different teams.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate metrics.
  • Prepare regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations for key stakeholders.
  • Identify and escalate potential issues or risks, providing mitigation and corrective strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and project management practices.
  • Support the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance project outcomes.
  • Develop new workflows or systems that improve overall operational performance.
  • Proactively identify project risks and dependencies and develop mitigation plans.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure long-term adoption of new processes, tools, or changes resulting from strategic initiatives.
  • Effectively manage all stakeholders to ensure successful implementation & sustainability.
  • Ensure all project-related documentation, such as charters, work plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations, is accurate, up to date, and easily accessible.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards, ensuring that all projects meet internal and external regulatory requirements.
