About The Position

OBXtek is currently staffing for a Senior Project Manager (PM), supporting the Army’s Global Enterprise Network Modernization – OCONUS (GENM-O) organization. Place of performance will be Hunter Army Airfield and Fort Shafter, HI. Below is a list of expectations the PM must meet for this effort: Major Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the Government’s primary point of contact for assigned projects Work collectively with other Senior PMs and support staff across the team Provide technical support for all assigned contracts, to include development and review of acquistion and project documents Track and report assigned contract costs, schedule, and performance to the assigned Government Lead Create and update all assigned projects in project tracking tools such as PowerBI, Microsoft Project, and others as required Track and report project risks, issues, and opportunities to the assigned Government Lead Attend all required meetings, conferences, etc, providing meeting notes as required Interact with mission partners across multiple organizations, ensuring all requirements are captured and/or accounted for throughout the acquisition process Some travel can be expected. Travel will consist of trips both CONUS and OCONUS.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 8 years (minimum) related PM experience
  • Experience providing oversight of large, multi-functional projects, preferably in an information technology environment, and planning and managing complex tasks sometimes under tight budget and time constraints across multiple regions overseas
  • Strong management and leadership skills, written and oral communications skills; experience in Government acquisition; familiarity with industry best practices; and Government contract and subcontract management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAU Level III Project Management certification.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science related field

Nice To Haves

  • Army Acquisition experience highly recommended
  • Master's Degree in a science-related field

Responsibilities
