Position Summary: Plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion. Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs. At the higher levels, incumbents manage large multifaceted projects; at lower levels, incumbents may be concerned with clearly identifiable elements or functions within a larger project. Typically incumbents matched to this function are working towards or have achieved certification in project management. Requirements

  • 5-7 years work experience in Managed Care environment
  • Adept at problem solving and decision making skills
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork

  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional(PMP) preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Under general direction, leads the planning and execution of key organizational projects, ensuring consistent alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Develops project plans and team member assignments, defines specific deliverables and deadlines, and establishes project milestones for the organization.
  • Conducts project post-mortems to capture and apply lessons learned to identify areas for improvement and shares process enhancements to optimize project management practices.
  • Implements and enforces quality control processes to identify and resolve any deviations or deficiencies.
  • Develops change management plans and strategies to minimize resistance and ensure successful adoption.
  • Identifies project risks and issues, develops risk mitigation strategies, and establishes contingency plans.
  • Prepares and delivers project progress reports, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Directs individuals to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjust priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining the highest level of attention to detail.
  • Coaches more junior colleagues in current project management techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
