J ob S u mma r y Under the direction of Performance Improvement Leadership, the Performance Improvement Project Manager is responsible for managing small to medium sized performance improvement projects that directly support hospital strategic priorities and regulatory compliance goals. The Project Manager collaborates with stakeholders on process improvement opportunities, applies Lean, Six Sigma and other methodologies to evaluate processes, and develops, recommends, and supports the implementation of proposed solutions to deliver results. Duties include but are not limited to project management, data analytics and visualization, regulatory survey support, regulatory data validation, data preparation for consumer facing collaboratives, registries, and internal dashboards and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, biological science or related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in performance improvement, quality management, and regulatory experience in an acute care setting.
  • One year of experience in facilitating performance/process improvement projects including but not limited to Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and PDCA.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office Suite, Excel database and statistical analysis skills.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required. Experience can be considered in lieu of certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
