Entellus has a new opportunity for a Project Manager/Project Engineer to join our growing team. This role will support business development and manage various public or land development projects. The successful candidate is accountable for project performance, ensuring quality control on deliverables, and maintaining strong client relationships through quality deliverables and professional service. This role also provides direction and guidance to junior engineers and technicians assigned to the project manager’s team. This individual will report to the Las Vegas Office Leader.

Requirements

  • 5-15 years of experience on land development or public sector projects, including project management responsibilities
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Nevada (or the ability to obtain licensure in 12 months)
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office 365, including familiarity with Teams.
  • Must be able to interact and effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with team and clients.
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of the public or private project delivery process.
  • Ability to travel as needed for meetings.
  • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, team player, and self-starter.
  • Proven track record of successful project execution, client management, and securing new work.
  • Must be able to work independently while still meeting schedule and budget.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, if required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage scope, schedules, and budgets.
  • Prepare and manage monthly client invoicing.
  • Manage and mentor project team.
  • Manage a variety of land development projects through the entire lifecycle of the project.
  • Participate in the firm’s seller-doer culture by developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Maintain quality control on all project deliverables.
  • Provide and teach engineering best practices to project team.
  • Participate in networking events to represent the firm and assist in developing new business.
