About The Position

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing new construction roofing projects from initiation to completion. Your expertise in project management, strong organizational skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality results will ensure projects are executed efficiently while meeting client expectations, budget requirements, and schedule commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management; roofing experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project management processes and documentation.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, JobTread, or similar platforms).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control practices.
  • Team player attitude is a must.
  • Ability to climb a 40-foot ladder and lift heavy objects.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • OSHA certification or willingness to complete certification.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with general contractors, estimators, and internal teams during the pre-construction phase to review project scope, requirements, and budgets.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope of work, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Manage multiple new construction roofing projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, and project correspondence.
  • Proactively identify and address project challenges and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Financial and Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
  • Monitor project financial performance to ensure profitability and cost control.
  • Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and change orders in accordance with company processes.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate billing, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency while maintaining quality and project specifications.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for general contractors, client representatives, and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain consistent communication regarding project progress, schedules, and milestones.
  • Address client concerns or issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and partners.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with superintendents, project coordinators, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Provide clear guidance and expectations to project team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment.
  • Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders to ensure smooth project workflow.
  • Quality Control and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to company quality standards, project specifications, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct inspections to verify workmanship and materials meet required standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and collaborate with safety personnel to maintain safe job sites.
  • Address safety or quality concerns immediately and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Handle additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
