About The Position

Position Summary: Reporting to Manager, Project Management, this position is responsible for managing site schedules for various data center customers for G&W Electric . Ensuring efficiency and customer expectations are met associated with all site contractors and end users. Ensures and leads alignment with cross functional G&W Electric teams, regarding project scope, and schedules. Primary/Essential Responsibilities: Lead and manage external communication directly with customers/sites for all phases of the commissioning process (Level 15), attending cadence calls, compiling schedules based on site-readiness, scheduling, and coordinating with all internal parties to execute site timelines Lead customer commissioning meetings and integrate commissioning timelines with overall project schedules Analyze and troubleshoot customer issues related to G&W Electrics supplied documentation, product, etc. as they arise during various levels of commissioning process onsite Leads effective coordination with all internal stakeholders Aftermarket, Power Grid Automation, and Field Application Engineers (where needed) and with G&W Electric reps Review submittals, drawings, and design documents as needed to prepare for onsite commissioning requirements Manage and determine escalations, priority setting, conflict resolution when facing multiple and concurrent project issues Ensures scope of work assessment, validation, and agreement between customer and internal G&W team Reviews new contract requirements, exceptions, and nuances with Contract Administrator Handles and coordinates all site commissioning related escalations for G&W Electric equipment Establish project schedules, communicates to ensure all parties are aligned Overseas and manages customer portals for all sites while maintaining documentation regarding onsite issues that Field Service and Power Grid Automation resolve during visits Works closely with Order Management Project Manager handling the mission critical orders with weekly reports compiled Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to better serve our customers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Technical aptitude required
  • 5+ years of direct customer service experience and 5+ years of schedule coordination
  • PMP or equivalent project management certifications
  • Highly effective communication skills - strong written and verbal communication skills a must
  • Documented ability to resolve issues independently
  • Documented ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and reassess as necessary
  • Expert knowledge in the use of Microsoft suite Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
