The Target Pay Range for this position is as follows: • Loveland, Colorado: The Target Pay Range for this position is $99,000-$120,000 annually. • Fountain Valley, California: The Target Pay Range for this position is $103,000 - $125,000 annually. • New York, NY: The Target Pay Range for this position is $108,000 - $130,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget. Job Purpose The Project Manager, Lab Operations oversees all project functions including planning, task management, and coordination of internal and/or external functional teams’ activities to drive key projects and initiatives of the Lab Operations business unit. This role will be involved in all stages of the project life cycle including scope definition, planning, execution, and monitoring. This includes assessment of the submitted requirements and creation and communication of end-to-end project plans that clearly outline timelines, dependencies, resources, and ownership. Projects include, but are not limited to, lab integrations, greenfield launches, product launches and process enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree with at least 4-5 years of project management experience, preferably in a laboratory environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; can easily tailor messaging and communication style based on the define audience.
  • Effective listener, who can communicate project needs and activities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Competency in project management applications, tools, concepts, and methodologies.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates cultural awareness and experience in team management and leadership on projects that span multiple time zones and different cultures.
  • Consistently demonstrates organization, detail-orientation, analytical and investigation skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be able to travel as needed to meet the project needs.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing end-to-end Lab Operations project activities, including scope, budget, risks, timelines, deliverables, and communication to support project delivery in a global and dynamic environment.
  • Provides strategic leadership and consultation throughout the project life cycle, including activities such as planning, designing, documenting, integrating, communication, reporting, change management, incident management, and configuration management.
  • Develop project plans and roadmaps and ensure that project deliverables are in line with the business requirements, delivered on schedule, and meeting the quality standards defined.
  • Identify and prioritize project requirements and critical path in line with business objectives.
  • Create appropriate sub-plans such as a communications plan, quality assurance plan, resource plan, procurement plan, change management plan, etc.
  • Coordinates and facilitates work groups, involving other Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts to elicit and document business and user requirements, perform gap analysis, define, and reengineer processes based on internal and industry best practices.
  • Delivers frequent and concise communication, and reports project status updates to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Set and manage expectations with resource manager(s) regarding allocation to the project and performance expectations.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and manage contingencies that may negatively affect a project.
  • Ensures project activities aligns with Antech policies, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Execute project closeout activities including turnover to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Define, monitor, and report on key project metrics.
  • Facilitate retrospectives to support a continuous cycle of development and feedback.
  • Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required and adjusts work hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
  • Represent Antech professionally at all times.
  • May be asked to participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
