About The Position

Coborn's is looking for a Project Manager to help drive business transformation across our growing, multi-banner grocery retail organization. This position leads the delivery of complex, cross-functional projects that enhance operations, technology, and the guest and employee experience. You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of initiatives—from technology implementations (POS, inventory, labor management, ERP, HR, and pharmacy systems) to store remodels and enterprise-wide process improvements. This role plays a key part in connecting teams, driving accountability, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects, ideally within retail, grocery, or consumer goods industries.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and stakeholder communication.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CAPM, or related certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects that support business transformation across store operations, merchandising, supply chain, IT, HR, and digital initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business and field leaders to define project scope, objectives, and success measures—translating retail needs into actionable plans.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules in alignment with emerging PMO standards.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources across Merchandising, Store Operations, IT, HR, Finance, and vendor partners.
  • Monitor progress through operational KPIs and milestones; identify risks and adjust plans to maintain momentum.
  • Deliver clear, timely updates to leadership and steering committees on project timelines, risks, and results.
  • Ensure fiscal responsibility and cost efficiency while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Lead structured change management and communication plans to drive successful rollout and adoption of new systems and processes at the store level.
  • Serve as a connector between store teams and support departments to align enterprise solutions with front-line realities.
  • Contribute to the development and standardization of the Project Management Office (PMO), fostering visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement.
