About The Position

TESCO Control's core business is designing and building process control systems and power solutions for Municipalities and Industrial Clients to keep critical infrastructure operating efficiently. The company integrates control systems, builds out network architectures, automates processes, and calibrates and commissions instrumentation for Water/Wastewater Facilities and Power Systems that run Plants, Pump Stations, Tunnels, Bridges and Municipal Facilities. The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the water wastewater industry to independently execute large, complex projects. This role requires a deep understanding of Power Distribution and I&C, and involves full scope project management responsibilities, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Understanding or quickly gaining comprehension in Systems Integration projects is key to success. Requirements

  • Experience with Electrical Controls and Instrumentation in the Water/Wastewater Industry
  • Worked on Environmental Projects, Energy Optimization, Bridges, Tunnels and/or Facility Lighting and Controls
  • Strong background in the water wastewater industry
  • Deep understanding of Power Distribution and I&C
  • Extensive experience in the water wastewater industry
  • Understanding or quickly gaining comprehension in Systems Integration projects
  • At least 7 years related experience in the field
  • Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner; written and verbal
  • Act as a responsible company representative
  • Regularly attend formal training, review journals, publications, and other valuable resources to continuously develop knowledge of current technologies
  • Understanding of manufacturing workflow, including planning activities

  • Bachelors’ degree in Construction Management
  • PMP certification

Responsibilities

  • Implement change control measures to manage modifications in project scope effectively
  • Monitor and control project progress to ensure on-time and within-budget completion
  • Investigate potential critical situations and take corrective actions proactively
  • Represent the company in project meetings and strategic sessions
  • Effectively interpret and communicate plans and contract terms to administrative staff, customers, and end-users
  • Prepare detailed reports on work progress, costs, and scheduling
