About The Position

Hill International is seeking a Project Manager II in Thousand Oaks, California Responsibilities Provide Project Management oversight and function. Direct the project team and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle including, scoping and project initiation, planning and design, permit and easement acquisition, civil and electrical construction, and project close-out activities. Ramp up to lead and manage activities for multiple projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and outcomes. Execute tasks necessary for successful project execution. Identify problems and solutions. Collaborate to establish project objectives, timelines, risk analysis, milestones, and deliverables. Utilize project controls in exercising budget and schedule management, forecasting, performance monitoring such as variance analysis, maintaining schedules and project plans, identifying trends, forecasting costs, and assessing performance against budget targets. Resolve issues and ensure task completion by establishing priorities and resolving conflicts with team members and functional managers. Understand and use PM core concepts with the ability to learn processes and portfolio. Maintain organization, communicate effectively, and drive actions to resolve issues immediately. Interact and coordinate with outside agencies, internal stakeholders, and project teams. Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of project management experience with projects in the field. Bachelor’s degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Utility experience, OH and underground utility experience preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive). Environmental permitting experience (coastal permits, SWPPP, public lands approvals) preferred. Project Management Professional certification preferred. Ability to listen to and be respectful of different perspectives. Must be willing to work hybrid work schedule. The salary range for this position is $110,000-$120,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location. Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience with projects in the field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
