About The Position
LCRA's Transmission Project Management Office is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects that build the essential infrastructure of Texas. Requirements
- Six or more years of experience in project controls, project management or work package management or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in project management, business, finance, economics, engineering, construction management, math, science, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Primavera P6 for managing project schedules
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Responsibilities
- Promote collaboration within project teams and represent Transmission Project Management positively and with professionalism.
- Manage projects including project scope, schedule and budget. Ensure that projects are managed within the requirements of the Transmission Project Management Governance Document, and all Board and Financial
- Minimize project exposure to risks by identifying and managing project risks. Create, implement, and track mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Act as primary contact for stakeholders and for project team members. Document action items and bring them to resolution.
- Keep stakeholders informed of progress against agreed upon scope, schedule and budget.
- Travel independently or with a small team to project sites as needed.
