As a Project Manager I, you will play a critical role in managing projects focused on the production and delivery of cutting-edge ELINT (Electronic Intelligence) products. You will oversee projects from initial planning through production and delivery, ensuring on-time and high-quality results that meet customer requirements. In this role, you will develop, define, and execute project plans, production schedules, budgets, and deliverables. You will coordinate resources across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and quality assurance teams, while interfacing with both internal stakeholders and external customers on technical matters. This position focuses on driving efficiency, ensuring production timelines are met, and achieving key delivery milestones. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in project management and/or in a related or technical field, internships not included in total years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a project.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Basic understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or similar tool
  • Experience with developing budgets and managing projects to those budgets.
  • Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project execution
  • Experience in resource planning and management during project execution
  • Experience with risk management planning and documentation
  • Familiarity with government contracting and regulations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Manage projects through all phases of the lifecycle, including planning, scope definition, production readiness, execution, delivery, and program closeout.
  • Manufacturing Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure a seamless transition from design to production.
  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans for ELINT product manufacturing and delivery.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor progress against key milestones, budgetary guidelines, and performance indicators. Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing deliverables, production timelines, and risk mitigation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain product quality.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Respond to dynamic customer requirements, technical challenges, and changes in production priorities with agility and precision.
