No Additional Job Details (if applicable) Reporting to the Director of Operational Alignment, the Project Manager provides leadership for surgical instrument, supply optimization, and workflows across the continuum of service lines. The role supports integration efforts across the two Academic Medical Centers (AMC) by identifying opportunities to optimize and appropriately standardize inventory. The incumbent leads multi-campus operational integration efforts that ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures, coordinated process improvement, and aligned performance expectations across MGH, BWH, and associated sites. Partnering closely with the Clinical Nurse Program Manager, the Project Manager directly engages surgeons, nursing leaders, and multidisciplinary stakeholders to guide complex, longitudinal optimization initiatives. The role leads structured project planning, supports data acquisition and interpretation, and drives change across both physical inventories and the information systems that enable clinical practice. Success in this role requires strong project leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to influence change without direct authority. The position leads cross-functional operational working groups—including quality, training, high-level disinfection and sterilization, SISO functions, and sustainment initiatives—to ensure enterprise alignment and long-term reliability. The incumbent translates evolving stakeholder needs, operational risks, and quality signals into coordinated improvement plans and system-level strategies that strengthen performance across the AMC CSPS network.
