Project Manager I - Technology
About The Position
The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies. We are seeking a Technology Project Manager (TMP) to lead full lifecycle delivery of technology systems across large-scale public capital construction projects within a community college environment. This is a construction-focused technology leadership position supporting projects ranging from $1M-$25M. Salary Range: $150K/Year-$165K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications Hybrid Schedule : One (1) work-from-home (WFH) day per week
Requirements
- 3+ years managing technology projects in capital construction, facilities, or public infrastructure
- Experience reviewing construction drawings/specs
- Experience with structured cabling, VoIP, security systems, or AV systems
- Experience with public procurement and contract administration
- Strong budgeting and cost control experience
- Full lifecycle project experience (planning → turnover)
Nice To Haves
- PMP Certification
- Community College or public sector facilities experience
- Experience with mass notification platforms
- Unified Communications in AV spaces
- Network certifications (Cisco, Aruba, PanGen, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, budgeting, design coordination, procurement oversight, installation management, system integration, and operational turnover of: Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber Backbone) BDF/MDF/IDF buildouts and upgrades Access Control & Security Camera Systems Voice & Unified Communications (VoIP migrations and cutovers) Emergency Phones & Mass Notification Systems Network Switching Infrastructure (PoE, core/distribution) UPS & Telecom Power Resiliency Classroom, Conference Room & Theatrical AV Systems
- Manage 5–10 concurrent technology projects
- Coordinate technology scope during A&E programming and design
- Conduct drawing reviews using Bluebeam or similar tools
- Develop technology budgets, lifecycle cost models, and funding validations
- Review RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Oversee procurement and installation sequencing
- Ensure system interoperability prior to commissioning
- Support construction phase coordination and operational turnover
