Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of HVAC engineering experience, with strong focus on construction execution in pharma/biopharma/cleanroom facilities
  • Proven experience on consultancy and client’s side, supervising contractors and construction management teams
  • Hands-on construction background with experience overseeing HVAC installations
  • HVAC design experience and ability to interpret calculations, drawings, and specs
  • Understanding of GMP HVAC requirements (cleanroom classification, pressure, temperature, humidity control)
  • Experience supporting HVAC commissioning, qualification, and system turnover
  • Familiarity with GMP/CQV principles related to HVAC and cleanrooms
  • Strong skills in multi-discipline coordination and interface management
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading and writing skills for international project communication
  • Excellent communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively on-site in a multidisciplinary team through project handover

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Owner’s HVAC Project Engineer, overseeing system delivery from construction to handover
  • Supervise and monitor HVAC work performed by contractors to ensure compliance with design and specifications
  • Provide technical guidance and interpret design intent for proper on-site implementation
  • Serve as the main link between design and construction for HVAC-related changes and clarifications
  • Review HVAC documents such as drawings, method statements, and material submittals
  • Identify and help resolve HVAC construction, quality, and interface risks early
  • Coordinate HVAC interfaces with other building systems to avoid conflicts
  • Support commissioning of HVAC and related non-GMP systems
  • Assist in GMP HVAC commissioning, qualification, and issue resolution
  • Participate in system walkdowns, inspections, and handover reviews
  • Track HVAC issues and documentation using the project management system
  • Ensure complete documentation and smooth transition to operations at handover
