Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager (Grounds) is responsible for overseeing work related opportunities for people who have different abilities to work with integrated teams and receive work support and development as needed-achieving the highest level of independence possible. Manages employees and clients in the performance of grounds maintenance duties at the assigned site. Crucial point of contact with contract management. Provides training, support, and on-going feedback to all workers on job duties, proper procedures, and areas for improvement, with a special focus on safety and company culture. Functions as the SSHO (Site Safety & Health Officer) whose primary duty and responsibility is to prepare and enforce the Contractor's safety program on the contract. Supervising duties include hiring, scheduling, training, evaluating, disciplining, processing changes and timekeeping for workers. Monitors the budget, controls labor and supply expenses and inventory, and ensures quality and customer satisfaction.
