About The Position
The Facilities Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Director and the Senior Project Manager's in support of all new construction and renovations at all Carle facilities. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, design/layout and oversight of construction projects, facilitator of changes as the need arises and ensuring the timeliness and completion of the projects as well as budgets. Requirements
- Driver's License - Illinois Secretary of State (ILSOS)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Related field Work Experience
Responsibilities
- Assists director/manager by meeting with users to conduct space programming and develop designs
- Acts as a liaison between architects, engineers, vendors, maintenance staff, code officials, and contractors as needed
- Assists director/manager in developing project estimates and scope, using resources of architects, engineers, and contractors
- Assists with the selection of labor for project completion by matching skills to available engineering staff and contractors
- Assists director/manager with the specification of systems: site specs,electrical, telecommunication, cabinets, walls, floor finishes, lighting, plumbing, computer, furniture, wall finishes, door hardware, and medical gases
- Assists director/manager by acting as a resource in the preparation of drawings and building specifications as required to support projects
