Requirements

3+ years of project management experience in excavation, grading, utilities, or site development
Strong knowledge of earthwork operations, quantities, and production tracking
Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings and specifications
Experience managing schedules, budgets, and cost controls
Solid organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Excel and construction management software
Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Experience with estimating or pre-construction support
Familiarity with GPS machine control systems and basic surveying concepts
Background working on both commercial and residential site development projects

Responsibilities

Oversee excavation and grading projects from kickoff through closeout
Coordinate daily activities with field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
Review plans, specifications, and project scope to ensure alignment
Build and manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
Track production rates, job costs, and change orders
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams
Conduct regular site visits and lead project progress meetings
Identify and resolve field challenges to keep projects on track
Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies
