About The Position

Piper Companies is seeking a Project Manager - European Certification to join Cisco's Global Compliance Team (GCT PMO). The Project Manager will lead critical European certification projects that enable Cisco's market success and customer trust. This position is hybrid in Raleigh, NC (2 days on-site), with flexibility for remote candidates who meet requirements. Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Requirements

• 2+ years of project management experience, preferably in certification or compliance programs
• Experience engaging with business units to discuss requirements
• Proven ability to prioritize and balance multiple programs in a dynamic environment
• Willingness to work some European hours (early morning meetings) with a consistent schedule
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, and SharePoint
• Fluency in English
• U.S. citizenship

• additional European language (e.g., Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple European certification projects from initiation through completion, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management
• Develop and execute program plans detailing critical paths, resources, and mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Marketing, Operations, Sales, external labs, and certification bodies such as EUCC, NATO, BSI, and CPSTIC
• Maintain deep knowledge of European certification processes and evolving standards
• Present program status at key milestones and operational reviews
• Manage communications across global teams, government entities, and third-party labs, addressing language and cultural nuances
• Track progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely certification completion
• Support PMO activities including meeting facilitation, note-taking, and action item follow-up
• Apply exceptional program management skills to navigate ambiguity and evolving requirements
