About The Position

Will estimate projects and work within the organization to develop existing and establish new customers. Effectively monitor and manage acquired and assigned projects to ensure progress and profitability.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
College degree and/or 5 years of practical MEP construction project knowledge
Must have experience and working knowledge of how long it takes and what materials are required to accomplish specific tasks and to make MEP systems operational, specifically rigging and equipment moving.
Must have a good working knowledge of construction sequencing.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Good decision making and problem solving capabilities
Intermediate math skills for billings, tracking, and forecasting project costs
Good organizational and time-management skills
Must be able to work in a team environment
A current valid driver's license is required

Responsibilities

Review and become familiar with the project drawings and specifications, project contract requirements, and the overall project schedule and when our services will be required.
Creates estimates for project budget and bid numbers.
Effectively manage labor allocations to successfully complete the work with the fewest amount of hours as possible, yet maintain quality and the project schedule.
Enforce MCC safety practices and procedures on the project and develop site specific safety plan while ensuring MCC quality standards are maintained for all work installed on the project.
Assist in preparing monthly client billings.
Maintain excellent relationship with client.
Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for employee job performance. Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
