Estimator / Project Manager

About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator and Project Manager to join our commercial construction team. This dual-role position is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and then managing awarded projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, deep construction knowledge, and proven leadership to coordinate all phases of project execution.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating and/or project management
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted)
Proficiency with construction management and estimating platforms such as Procore, Ecomm, and Autodesk
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and industry best practices
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and project documents to develop accurate time, cost, and labor estimates
Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for scope alignment and competitive pricing
Prepare detailed takeoffs, quantity surveys, and cost breakdowns using estimating software
Assist in bid strategy, value engineering, and proposal development
Plan, schedule, and manage construction activities from project award through closeout
Monitor project costs, track change orders, and ensure alignment with approved budgets
Conduct regular project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
Maintain documentation including RFIs, submittals, contracts, schedules, and progress reports
