Staffmark is seeking a skilled Project Manager/Estimator for a direct hire opportunity with a reputable commercial cabinetry company in Gastonia, NC. This role is ideal for someone with experience in project management and cost estimating within the cabinetry or millwork industry. Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (based on experience) Schedule: Flexible Monday-Friday schedule

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in project management and estimating (cabinetry or related field).
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in project management and estimating software.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Manage commercial cabinetry installation projects from start to finish.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams via phone, email, and in person.
Conduct site visits, review design specs, and ensure projects meet codes and quality standards.
Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, and material estimates.
Calculate labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor, and transportation costs.
Use estimating and project management software for takeoffs and planning.
Prepare and present cost estimates and bid proposals.
Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
