Project Manager (Estimator)- Industrial and Commercial

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Commercial & Industrial Project Manager / Estimator to oversee painting projects from initial estimating through final completion. This role blends pre-construction cost analysis, project coordination, and client communication to ensure successful delivery of commercial and industrial painting projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong in estimating, and confident managing teams, timelines, and client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial or industrial painting project management and estimating
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural plans and project specifications
Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Effective communication and client relationship management skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to visit job sites as required

Responsibilities

Review architectural drawings, specifications, and scopes to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates
Develop and submit detailed proposals for commercial and industrial painting projects
Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution
Manage project schedules, milestones, and on-site progress
Maintain clear communication with clients throughout estimating and project delivery phases
Track budgets, monitor costs, and assist with change order management
Maintain organized project documentation and reporting
Support seamless transition from awarded bid to active project management
