The Project Execution Manager oversees the project engineering team and assists with their performance in managing new equipment and service orders for the NAM SFT division. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage project engineers to deliver equipment orders on time and within budget.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Oversee daily workflow of the department.
  • Monitor resources and resource capacity planning of the department.
  • Liaise with managers of other NAM departments including Finance, Logistics, HR, and others to achieve project goals.
  • Provide performance evaluations of all direct reports.
  • Define priorities for department work and resolution of conflicts, escalate to director level if necessary.
  • Facilitate training and learning experiences of team members.
  • Maintain status reports of all projects worked on by the department.
  • Review new projects and assign project teams.
  • Establish strong communication guidelines with customers and other company departments.
  • Prioritize project tasks to align with company goals.
  • Enforce procedures and best practices of engineering and project management including continuous improvement.
  • Directly manage large projects, or projects of strategic importance to the company.
  • Directly support Project Engineers as needed during the life of each project, including risk management.
  • Approve PTO, expense reports, and other department expenditures.
  • Track and maintain KPIs for project management within their team.
  • Collaborate with commercial coordinators to track project budgets and invoicing.
  • Create engineering service proposals on behalf of the department.
  • Assist with review, approval, and update of department ISO procedures including audits.
  • Act as the point of contact for emergencies and accident reporting within their team.
