About The Position

As an EHS Project Manager at HRP, you’ll lead and manage a variety of environmental, health, and safety compliance projects across industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, oversee project teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, technically sound solutions. This role blends regulatory expertise, project leadership, and client engagement — perfect for someone who enjoys both strategy and hands-on problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of EHS consulting or industry experience
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including budgeting and client communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience conducting EHS audits, developing programs, or delivering training
  • Travel to job sites as needed
  • Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, or similar) are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute EHS compliance projects, including audits, program development, and regulatory reporting
  • Develop and implement EHS programs, policies, and training materials
  • Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations
  • Prepare and review technical reports, compliance plans, and regulatory submittals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance and responsive support
  • Lead project teams, mentor junior staff, and coordinate internal and external resources
  • Support business development through proposal preparation, client outreach, and strategic planning
  • Track project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
  • Promote and uphold HRP’s commitment to health, safety, and quality across all project activities
