Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible The Project Manager Custom Consumable is responsible for leading the design and development of custom single use assemblies for final fill bioprocessing applications. This position reports to the Upstream Consumable Engineering Manager and is part of Hardware Solutions operating company located in Marlborough and will be an ON-SITE role in Duncan, SC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Plastics, Bio, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • PMP Certification Preferred.
  • Prefer 6+ years in project management in biotech, or related fields.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management (Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Leadership etc), organizing priorities and delivering on business goals.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies (agile, waterfall, hybrid etc) and advanced proficiency with PM tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Miro etc)
  • Expert communicator, capable of coordinating multiple innovation projects optimizing cost, resourcing and timelines.
  • Ability to travel 15% within the US or internationally.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25lb, any other physical requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree in engineering or business.
  • 6+ years experience in final fill bioprocessing.
  • Experience with single use assemblies for monoclonal antibody manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Cross-Functional NPI Projects from concept through launch, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality targets are met.
  • Coordinate with engineering operations and quality teams to deliver custom solutions aligned with customer requirements
  • Support sales inquiries by assessing technical feasibility and providing accurate scope, cost, and lead time estimates for custom requests.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk assessments, and status reports to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution processes, tools, and communication to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
