About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our San Francisco construction management team. This role offers the opportunity to support and deliver multiple tenant improvement and development projects for high-profile clients in one of the most dynamic markets in the country. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with a solid foundation in construction project management. You should be comfortable coordinating project activities, managing stakeholders, and driving progress across multiple workstreams. A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and attention to detail are key to success in this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction project management, ideally in commercial real estate or tenant improvement projects.
  • Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects with varying scopes and timelines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management platforms such as Procore.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Willingness to work in the San Francisco office and travel to project sites as needed.

  • Familiarity with California Bay Area construction market is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
  • Track and report on project milestones, budgets, and schedules to support successful execution.
  • Support project governance by maintaining documentation, meeting notes, and action items.
  • Assist in preparing project status reports and updates for internal and client stakeholders.
  • Monitor construction progress and flag potential risks or delays.
  • Facilitate communication between consultants, suppliers, and client teams.
  • Maintain structured project documentation and ensure timely updates.
  • Support forecasting and schedule updates in alignment with program goals.
  • Review drawings, submittals, and reports to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Respond to field requests and coordinate timely resolution of issues.
  • Provide input on cost control, constructability, and value engineering opportunities.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and project partners.
  • Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts across projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
