About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead complex heavy civil construction projects from award through closeout, ensuring safe, on-time, and high-quality delivery while maintaining strong relationships with clients, field teams, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years experience in WWTP Infrastructure as a Project Manager. This position will manage planning, procurement, scheduling, cost control, and communication efforts for a wide range of projects, including sitework, utilities, concrete structures, and restoration. The role requires technical expertise, strong leadership, and a collaborative approach to drive successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5–7+ years in civil construction project management (public works, municipal, DOT, or large-scale infrastructure preferred, and concrete infrastructure).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Suite, and project management platforms such as Procore, P6, Phoenix, Bluebeam, and ComputerEase.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in concrete, structural, earthwork, and utility scopes.
  • Familiarity with design-build delivery methods.
  • Strong change management, negotiation, and documentation skills.
  • Capacity to train and mentor less-experienced project staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project startup activities, including schedules, budgets, and procurement.
  • Focus in the concrete infrastructure of waste water treatment plants.
  • Oversee field execution through coordination with superintendents, foremen, and project engineers.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and materials to ensure quality and schedule compliance.
  • Monitor budgets, change orders, forecasts, and productivity to control costs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing, including monthly pay applications.
  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, plan revisions, and scope clarifications.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, inspectors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Mentor and support project engineers and junior project managers.
  • Contribute to estimating, preconstruction, and business development efforts.
  • Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all projects.
