Were seeking an experienced Project Manager Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant to join our Tallahassee team. This role is ideal for a driven, detail-focused leader who thrives on ownership, accountability, and delivering complex treatment plant projects.   • Lead all phases of water and wastewater treatment plant project delivery, from planning and execution through closeout
  • Maintain full ownership of project scope, schedules, forecasting, and overall performance
  • Prepare, manage, and track project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change management, and billing
  • Coach, motivate, and develop superintendents, foremen, engineers, and field teams
  • Foster a culture of accountability, communication, and teamwork
  • Coordinate closely with field leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations
  • Manage project financials with full profit-and-loss responsibility
  • Forecast profitability and ensure projects meet or exceed budget expectations
  • Identify risks early, implement corrective actions, and proactively solve issues
  • Represent Petticoat-Schmitt with integrity and professionalism
  • Build strong working relationships with owners, inspectors, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Protect company interests through clear communication and proactive problem-solving
  • 4+ years of project management experience in civil construction, preferably with water or wastewater treatment plants
  • Strong background managing self-performed work, including structural concrete, process piping, and mechanical scopes
  • Proven experience with profit-and-loss accountability and financial forecasting
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, HCSS, Procore/Prolog, or similar project management platforms
  • Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to coach and develop teams while supporting field execution
  • High sense of urgency with exceptional attention to detail
  • Organized, accountable, and confident decision-maker
