About The Position

The Component Life Cycle Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional initiatives that ensure long-term availability of electronic components used in company products. This role combines component lifecycle oversight with structured project and program management to proactively mitigate risks related to obsolescence. Forward looking lifecycle information to customer and engineering, product marketing, and sales teams.

Requirements

  • Power BI experience

  • Experience with electrical or mechanical components
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • 3-5 Years of Experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in semi-conductor desirable
  • Experience with PLM, SAP, and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Strategic management of critical parts and life cycle reporting, enabling proactive risk mitigation and improved supply assurance.
  • Monitor lifecycle status of components through correspondence with suppliers and third-party services.
  • Manage implementation of technical solutions across all impacted platforms and Business Units.
  • Identify obsolescence risks and lead mitigation plans including alternates and LTB strategies.
  • Provide status updates and leadership reporting.
  • Leads discussions with suppliers to understand product life cycle status’, design changes, and runout dates.
  • Maintain lifecycle documentation and traceability.
  • Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, Service teams, Marketing, and Sales teams.
