Responsible for working on a single large-scale project, multiple smaller/less complex projects or a work stream. The Project Management function manages a BU project or program to successful outcome. This role is responsible for aligning resources, overseeing the budget, creating project plans and tracking key milestones/risks/dependencies. This is the key coordinator to ensure activities are completed

Requirements

  • Ability to own, lead and deliver multiple initiatives to improve the service delivery, efficiency and relationships.
  • An effective communicator and facilitator with strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Results oriented, takes initiative to identify areas to add value and executes quickly and effectively.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with project management tools, deliverables, and reporting.
  • Experience identifying key performance indicators, creating dashboards and developing project metrics.
  • 5+ years of experience executing complex initiatives in financial services.
  • A college or university degree and /or relevant proven work experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft's suite of tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Power BI preferred.
  • Basic understanding of institutional investment industry, including markets, instruments, and transactional impact.
  • Certification related to Project Management or Business Analysis preferred; PMP, IIBA, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Create Project Management documentation: Project Plan, Stakeholder Analysis, Issues Log, & Project Governance
  • Understand business requirements, current/future state process flows, & test cases to effectively lead a project.
  • Act as the main point of contact and build relationships with clients, in-house technology partners, operational areas, management and product development during the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Identify and communicate bespoke client requirements to work with internal business and IT partners to address
  • Facilitate client meetings including producing agendas, status reporting, and document next steps
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from beginning to end
  • Work closely with teams across the organization to ensure operational readiness.
  • Ensure all escalations are identified and communicated to management appropriately.
