About The Position
The Project Manager & Business Development Engineer for Specialty Printing Project serves as the central liaison between the BASF-site and the subcontractor executing specialized printing activities. This multifaceted role ensures the successful collaboration with the sub-contractor, supports operational and administrative processes, contributes to R&D efforts, and will consequently play a central role in moving the project to full production. Additionally, the role includes part-time responsibility for technical sales and optionally sales activities related to BASF Functional Printing products in North America. Requirements
- Higher education (bachelor’s or master’s degree) in Printing Technology/Engineering, Chemical or Process Engineering, Chemistry or a related field
- Several years of experience in a roll-to-roll printing environment, preferably gravure, or flexographic
- Strong understanding of printing processes, materials, and equipment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic project environment
