About The Position

At IEM, a company with over 75 years of experience in building innovative electrical distribution systems, the Project Manager, AI & Automation Delivery is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives. These initiatives span Salesforce CRM, artificial intelligence, and enterprise automation programs. The role reports to the Director of AI & Automation Delivery and involves close partnership with business stakeholders, IT, and third-party vendors to plan, execute, and close projects on time and within scope. The ideal candidate possesses strong Agile and project management experience, a proven track record in delivering Salesforce and automation solutions, and excellent communication skills to align diverse teams within a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment. IEM is the largest independent full-line manufacturer of custom power distribution systems in North America, operating over 1.7 million square feet of manufacturing capacity with $1B+ in annual sales and 10,000+ commissioned projects across various markets. The company seeks a self-directed project manager comfortable owning multiple workstreams, capable of navigating ambiguity, and building trust with stakeholders at all levels. A practical understanding of Salesforce platforms and modern automation tools, along with a commitment to continuous improvement, is essential.

Requirements

3–7 years of project management experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering technology or digital transformation projects.
Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies; hands-on experience facilitating sprints and managing backlogs.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex operational environments.
Proficiency with JIRA, Microsoft Teams, and the Microsoft 365 suite for project tracking and collaboration.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills; capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification is a plus.
Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation (RPA, low-code/no-code) is a plus.
Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or related platform implementations.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management for Salesforce, AI, and automation initiatives from initiation through go-live and hypercare support.
Define and maintain project scope, schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and status reports for stakeholders and leadership.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across one or more concurrent delivery teams.
Manage and prioritize project backlogs in JIRA, ensuring user stories are well-defined, estimated, and aligned to business value.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate system integrations, data migrations, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities across project workstreams.
Prepare and deliver project status updates, steering committee presentations, and executive-level dashboards.
Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain project momentum.
Manage Salesforce CRM implementation and enhancement projects including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform integrations.
Support AI and intelligent automation (RPA, workflow automation) projects from business case through production deployment.
Partner with business analysts and solution architects to translate business requirements into actionable project deliverables.
Maintain project documentation including charters, RACI matrices, decision logs, meeting minutes, and lessons learned.
Contribute to the development and adoption of project management standards, templates, and best practices within the department.
