About The Position

The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of creative initiatives within the Ad Sales Marketing team. This position is responsible for ensuring that each creative project is strategically aligned with the organization’s goals and delivers the intended outcomes. The role involves defining the scope and objectives of each project, developing comprehensive timelines with clearly defined milestones, and assembling the necessary team, budget, and resources to achieve success. The Project Manager is also tasked with developing proactive risk mitigation strategies, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment, and ensuring that the creative team remains focused on the project’s mission. By skillfully balancing creative vision with operational discipline, this role is essential for driving creative projects from initial conception through to successful completion.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5+ years of project management experience, specifically within an agency, marketing, or creative environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools such as Airtable and Monday.com. Basic knowledge of MS Office and Google suites, including PowerPoint, Google Slides, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, active listening, effective collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills are vital for facilitating creative—often subjective—feedback among team members and stakeholders.
  • Workflow Knowledge: Deep understanding of the creative production process, covering everything from design to print and digital publishing to editorial and animation.

Responsibilities

  • Workflow Management: Own the project intake process, define project scope, create detailed timelines, and manage, prioritize, and assign tasks to members of the creative team in collaboration with Creative leadership.
  • Project Oversight: Monitor the progress of each project from kickoff through to final delivery, identifying any bottlenecks and working proactively to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Media & File Management: Track and maintain organization of project files, deliverables, internal work and assets.
  • Communication Hub: Serve as the primary point of contact between creative team members, internal stakeholders, and external vendors, ensuring clear and effective communication at all stages of the project.
  • Quality Assurance: Review all creative deliverables and work with the creative team to ensure projects meet the established objectives, adhere to brand standards, and comply with technical specifications.
  • Budgeting & Resources: Manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and, when needed, procure and oversee external vendors with creative leads.
