Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to obtain favorable adjudication for security clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in acquisition management, project management, or related federal contracting environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing and reviewing requirement documentation including Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Statements of Objectives (SOO)
  • Experience conducting training and knowledge-sharing sessions on acquisition processes and best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with process improvement initiatives and acquisition lifecycle management
  • Certified Acquisition Professional (CAP) or Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary liaison and project manager, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and oversight of all program activities
  • Develop and review requirement documentation for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Assist in creating acquisition planning documents including Acquisition Plans, Market Research Reports, SOWs, PWS, SOOs, and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans
  • Deliver approximately 12 formal training sessions annually on acquisition processes, contract administration, and best practices
  • Support the Acquisition Liaison Team in reviewing and approving approximately 50-70 procurement packages annually
  • Provide recommendations and support implementation of process improvements and efficiencies
  • Maintain and improve acquisition resource libraries and templates
  • Prepare presentation materials and administrative support for program briefings and leadership updates
  • Other duties as assigned.
